12,000 Years of Purity, Delivered to Your Glass.
Our Mission
At Alaska Glacial Ice, we believe in honoring nature’s rarest gifts. Our mission is simple but bold:
To rescue ancient glacial ice from melting into the sea and transform it into one of the world’s most exclusive luxury experiences.
Every year, millions of tons of pristine iceberg ice break away from Alaska’s tidewater glaciers—only to melt into rising oceans and vanish forever. We believe in giving this treasure a second life.
Our craft ice is harvested from free-floating, naturally calved icebergs in Prince William Sound, Alaska. It’s crystal-clear, untouched by modern pollutants, and frozen in time for over 12,000 years. And thanks to exclusive permits, we’re the only legally authorized iceberg ice harvesters in North America.

A Legacy Carved in Ice
What began as one man’s fascination has become a global mission.
Founder Scott Lindquist spent decades commercial fishing across Alaska’s icy waters. In 1981, aboard the M/V Aleutian Dragon, he first laid eyes on an iceberg near Columbia Glacier. Intrigued by its clarity and weight, he chipped off a piece and held it to the sun—seeing prisms and trapped ancient air bubbles sparkling inside.
That single moment sparked a lifelong pursuit.
From launching a 5-gallon glacier water delivery service in the early ’90s, to receiving the first iceberg harvesting permit in 1992, to providing ice for international brands and events from Seoul to Tokyo, Scott turned a frozen relic into a living legend.
Now, under a new global vision, Alaska Glacial Ice is scaling its legacy — delivering this experience to the world’s top hotels, private events, and luxury destinations.
